The origins of hypnosis
Hypnosis in some form or another has been around for many centuries. No one knows for certain when hypnosis began but we do know ancient Egyptians used a form of it. The term 'hypnotism' was 1st coined by James Braid in 1842 after the Greek word 'hypno' which means sleep.
Hypnotherapy can help you to tap into your inner resources and capabilities, to challenge and change negative thoughts, feelings and behaviours and to replace them with new positive ones.
